What an incredible way to kick off the new year! KatrinaMarie’s Love & Lifestyle magazine certainly knows how to make a bold statement with its January issue, celebrating "The Month of the Man." Hosting the event at Carmen's Kitchen and Cocktails in Marietta was the perfect recipe for a night filled with amazing food, fun, and laughter, complete with some delicious cocktails.
KatrinaMarie’s heartfelt words about why she dedicated January to men and chose Rod Minger for the cover are inspiring. Her emphasis on celebrating men as vital pillars of relationships, families, and communities shines a light on something often overlooked. "
"There's no real Men's month on the calendar. There's Father's Day in June and No Shave November which also impliment a Men's Fashion Month, but there is no real month that is celebrated as Men's Month. So I decided to officially make January "The Month of the Man" because Men are our beginning. No matter how we debate the issue. Yes, our men our needed and NECESSARY. They need to be celebrated and appreciated and We need them to take their proper place in our relationships, our families, and our communities. Rod was the perfect person to be on the cover of this issue because he exudes what I feel is the type of man who our community needs to see... Strength, Vulnerabity, Accountiblity and Love... and he's kinda funny!! (Laughs) Women love a man who can make them laugh. Choosing Rod was a fitting tribute to this theme. The acknowledgment of men’s contributions and the importance of their roles is a refreshing perspective.
The event was further elevated by the attendance of incredible men featured in the issue, including KL Allen, Keith Brown, Nate Brown, Darrel Davis, Elam B. King, and Jeremiah "BOWTIE" Woods. Each of them represents the excellence and leadership KatrinaMarie aims to spotlight.
But wait!! There's More!! Before the big reveal, our amazing KatrinaMarie was honored with the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by none other than Dr. Tincie M. Lynch of TM Lynch Prayer Outreach, the official certifier for the President Lifetime Achievement Award. A real time was had, as you can see!!!
